Answers about TC Storage, the Public Beta, platforms, and pricing.
TC Storage is private cloud storage with a web app, desktop sync clients, and mobile access. It is designed for secure file browsing, previews, uploads, and folder sync — inspired by familiar cloud drives, built for privacy-first workflows.
Personal storage, family and business spaces, secure link sharing, web and mobile apps, and early desktop sync for macOS and Windows. See the Public Beta page for scope, known limitations, and what we are building next.
Yes. Folders with more than 500 items are not yet optimized, Office files download instead of in-browser preview, and desktop sync continues to improve. We document these on the Public Beta page.
Files are encrypted in transit (TLS) between your devices and TC Storage. Object storage and authentication are private and account-scoped. We do not claim end-to-end encryption unless and until that capability is implemented and documented.
Web access works in modern browsers. Desktop apps are available for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows. Linux desktop and expanded mobile packaging are on the roadmap.
The Download page always shows the current Public Beta release from a single release manifest. Short URLs like /downloads/macos and /downloads/windows always point to the newest installer.
Yes. Open the web app to sign in, browse files, upload, download, and preview — then install desktop sync when you want local folders mirrored.
Paid plans are not available yet. During Public Beta, storage is included with your account while we finalize tiers and billing. Contact us to hear when paid plans launch.

TC Storage (“we”, “us”) provides private cloud storage software in Public Beta. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our marketing website and the TC Storage web, desktop, and mobile applications.
When you create an account, we process your email address, authentication data, and the files you choose to store. Usage metadata (such as storage consumed and activity required to operate the service) is processed to provide quotas, security, and support.

Files are transferred over TLS. Objects are stored in private cloud storage accessible only through the application. We describe our security practices on the Security page and update them as the product evolves.
We retain account and file data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes. You may delete files and close your account according to in-product controls.
